A unique climate with marvelous healing properties is one of the reasons why Losinj celebrates 120 years of health tourism.

Ancient Apoxyomenos is a citizen of Losinj
If you enjoy sailing and diving, you can dive to the location where the bronze statue of Apoxyomenos was found, or just take a walk to the Apoxyomenos’ Museum.
The friendship between the dolphins and Losinj lasts for thirty years, and on July 1, the island celebrates Dolphin’s day. For the purpose of research and protection of the sea, the Blue World was founded. In order to help the great guys from the Blue World to maintain their research and conservation activities for bottlenose dolphins , you have a uniqe opportunity to adopt the dolphin.
And the famous British Guardian distinguished Losinj as one of the five most beautiful islands for vacation and relaxation. Beaches that can be found in Losinj are for the most demanding tourists. And since you are lucky enough to come to Losinj with a sailboat, enjoy the wild and secluded coves.
The traditional Losinj cuisine, full of flavors and fragrances of the Mediterranean, features a Kvarner scampi, which, according to many gastronomic critics, are the best in the world. Inexhaustible delicacies include fish, island lamb, homemade pasta and olive oil and aromatic herbs that will be a real treat for the palate. Do not forget to toast with liqueur from local grass.

Goal: collecting miles, improving sailing skills and enjoying the magnificent landscapes
Age: all adults (from 16 to 18 years of age only with written parental permission)
Minimal experience: 10 days sailing, 180 NM in your logbook (if you lack experience, you can still sail with us – Leisure sailing)
Prerequisites: advanced sailing skills; completed Coastal sailing and cruising or Sailing skills and navigation course or equivalent skills acquired in another school or otherwise (we reserve the right to assess your skills)
Acquired knowledge: advanced sailing skills; sailed 150 NM (approx.)
Sailing area: North Adriatic (planned route: Sali, Dugi otok – bay Pantera, north of the Dugi otok – Ilovik – Mali Losinj – Susak – Unije – Silba – Molat – Iz – Jezera)
Duration: 6 days
Arrival: Saturday 6:00 pm
Start: Sunday 8:30 am
End: Friday late afternoon
Participants are required to check in on Saturday at 6:00 pm.Official start of the course is on Sunday at 8:30 am.All participants get a certificate as a recognition of participation and a logbook as a record of acquired skills, nautical miles sailed and weather conditions.
Sailing plan is subject to change depending on the current weather conditions and the forecast. Safety first!
Sailing gloves, two pairs of non-slip shoes or sneakers, T-shirts and long sleeve shirts, short and long pants, strong sunscreen, a cap or a hat, sunglasses, towels, personal hygiene items, bathing suit, towels, mosquito repellent.If you are sailing during colder months, please bring a warm, waterproof jacket, pants and a sleeping bag.
Please remember to bring personal medications if required.

meals for the participant and instructor and other marina’s costs (approximate cost 120 EUR, meals on board), arrival and departure costs, parking fee (weekly parking ticket 18 EUR required payment 01.06.-30.09., otherwise free of charge), travel insurance.
Rates apply to accommodation in double cabins. The upgrade for the use of a single cabin is 60% of the listed price.

Become a Skipper – Skipper Training Program
A skipper is a person who is in command of the vessel and the entire crew, and therefore has the knowledge, skills and authority necessary to take that responsibility.
The word is derived from the Dutch word Schipper – “ship”.
By participating in this unique program, you will master the knowledge and skills needed to perform duties of a skipper or the commander on board.
It is good to notice that the market demand for the profession skipper is constantly increasing.
Regattas – Compete and Show All Your Sailing Skills
This adrenaline program which ends by participating in one of the established race, is designed for anyone who wants to try the competitive sailing.
In addition to sailing, program of the race course is enriched by theoretical preparation that includes the following topics: the history of race and type of racing fields, crew and ship preparation for the regatta, trimming of sails and mast, regatta rules, tactics of start and sailing during the event, signals in the starting procedure, protests and rules of the registration for the event.
In first few days you will sail in local Murter waters and will practice daily until the time of departure to the place of the race. It will be Vis, Jabuka and Sibenik. After sailed regatta awards ceremony, we will continue back to Murter.
Run a bit, and visit a gym before the start of the course, you will be working hard at regatta…
RYA Day Skipper Practical – Advanced Practical Program
You gathered sailing experience and knowledge on courses, while sailing with others and reading books. You think it’s time to set sails on your own and you would like to acquire enough skills to take the responsibility of a skipper. Besides that, you would like to get a certificate that’s accepted as a licence valid for renting a boat or even working worldwide*. Come for the RYA Day Skipper Practical – Advanced course.
*Besides RYA Day Skipper certificate you would need VHF certificate too to drive or charter a yacht in Croatia.
Sailing to Kornati – Train Your Sailing Skills
