This “Northern” route is not very common, though it is unfairly neglected. But, everyone who has sailed this route is equally delighted, as do all those who sail on a “safer and more confident” South. All those who wants to discover some new destinations, new islands, islets, lighthouses and marinas, welcome to the route to Losinj!

First… Try to imagine the smell of lavender, rosemary, wrinkle, orange, sage, smell of sea and the sound of waves … You can experience this paradise with the program Losinj sailing.
A unique climate with marvelous healing properties is one of the reasons why Losinj celebrates 120 years of health tourism.
Here in Losinj, each month is marked with one of the thousand plant species of island, and Losinj has all the prerequisites for becoming a Mediterranean aromatherapy center. Nature is the true tourist attraction here.
Ancient Apoxyomenos is a citizen of Losinj
If you enjoy sailing and diving, you can dive to the location where the bronze statue of Apoxyomenos was found, or just take a walk to the Apoxyomenos’ Museum.
The friendship between the dolphins and Losinj lasts for thirty years, and on July 1, the island celebrates Dolphin’s day. For the purpose of research and protection of the sea, the Blue World was founded. In order to help the great guys from the Blue World to maintain their research and conservation activities for bottlenose dolphins , you have a uniqe opportunity to adopt the dolphin.
And the famous British Guardian distinguished Losinj as one of the five most beautiful islands for vacation and relaxation. Beaches that can be found in Losinj are for the most demanding tourists. And since you are lucky enough to come to Losinj with a sailboat, enjoy the wild and secluded coves.
The traditional Losinj cuisine, full of flavors and fragrances of the Mediterranean, features a Kvarner scampi, which, according to many gastronomic critics, are the best in the world.
