Build Up Your Sea Miles and Experience with ANA sailing school
Island of Lastovo – located far from land and tourist crowd, waiting for you to discover it’s untouched nature, hidden bays and beautiful landscapes. This little-known offshore island, hidden for years due to its military importance, is now mostly protected as a nature park, and is part of the UNESCO World Geoparks Network.
Lastovo belongs to the group of South Dalmatian islands, and the island group consists of the largest mother island, Lastovo, and a number of islands, islets and rocks. It is located 8 NM south of the island of Korčula separated by the Lastovo channel), southwest of the Pelješac peninsula and the island of Mljet.
On the island, in addition to numerous natural and cultural treasures, we highlight the Struga lighthouse, built in 1839. Another beauty on the sea is 13 nautical miles to the west of the island of Lastovo – the Sušac lighthouse.
Lastovo, precisely because of its distance and hiddenness makes it interesting… even a magical waypoint for sailors, and all sincere lovers of the sea and navigation will enjoy its unique archipelago.
