Offshore sailing to Otranto, Italy

The goal of our offshore sailing is the city of Otranto. Otranto is situated on the east coast of the peninsula of Salento, in the Strait of Otranto which links the Adriatic Sea and Ionian Sea. Passage of Otranto, the strait between Italy and Albania, the natural entrance to the Adriatic Sea – is named after the city of Otranto in southern Italy.
There is 250 NM of sailing waiting for us on our route from Jezera to Otranto. On the Island of Lastovo we have to do the formalities of departure from Croatia and down south we will set our sails.

After we arrive and see the city of Otranto and its beautiful fortress, we’re going back – heading towards Lastovo.

The words of Croatian famous sailor and writer Joze Horvat : “Who once was washed by the sea – can not be without it ever again”. If those words sound appealing to you, then Offshore sailing to Otranto, Italy is your next sailing route.
