Develop your sailing skills!

That’s why you want more, and besides the sailing, you are looking forward to meeting new friends, learning more, and having a great time in a beautiful environment. This course is an upgrade to the basic sailing knowledge, and you will learn how to adapt to the sailing and weather conditions at sea, and through the advanced sailing, repeat already acquired knowledge. You will adopt the basics of terrestrial navigation and docking with the engine. You will be prepared to take the examination for the license “Boat skipper Category B”.

Advanced Sailing – What will you learn?

Congratulations on the decision! Advanced sailing is a step further into sailing world. It is only a matter of doubt: which program to choose? Advanced Sailing Skills and Navigation or Coastal Sailing and Cruising?
Here is a brief overview of the knowledge and skills you will acquire in this program – Sailing skills and navigation.

Sailing in course

If we want to sail from a point A to a point B and the wind allows us to do it without manoeuvring, i.e. we sail in a straight line – that means that we sail in course. You will repeat and perfect: luff up, bear away, tack and gybe.

Meteorology

Meteorology is the science which investigates weather and weather phenomena in the Earth&’s atmosphere. Term “weather” in its basic sense refers to the changes occurring in the atmosphere, from the sea level to the height of about 10 to 11 km above sea level.

Man-overboard

You will practice rescue at sea, and for the practice purpose, we’ll use the buoy.

Approaching the shore

One of the most important exercises at the advanced sailing course; out from marina in to marina, out from marina in to marina, out from marina in to marina.
